QCR Ruler-Pattern-Quilt Kit Giveaway with "Sew Mama Sew"

This week is Sew-Mama-Sew's wonderful giveaway week with hundreds of items being given away.  Thanks for visiting my blog!

 I am participating by giving away a  Deco Tumbler Quilt Kit and Quick Curve Ruler!


Even if you have never sewed a curve before, with the Quick Curve Ruler and Deco Tumbler Pattern this quilt will work up very fast!  I chose Kona Iron for the background and 4 great red/white fabrics for a very modern/contemporary combination!! Red/White/Gray is my new favorite color combination....

 If you already have a Quick Curve Ruler or Deco Tumbler Pattern then you can check one of your quilty friends off your Christmas list;0)

    depending which way I turn in my sewing room I spot a different fave! There's the white yellow grey, the grey white lime, the grey red white, - hmm - I'm seeing a theme here - white and grey is my current fave combo!

    I love teal and red. Those are the colors of my bedroom and they inspire me to be brave. It was risky to paint the walls in dark teal, but i really love the result!

    I love, love, love gray and just started a project with gray/chartreuse/orange. That combination is normally totally off my radar (I'm a blue girl!), but I'm really enjoying it.

    I'm really loving the muted/vintage tones. Like a natural cotton color (that beigey shade with the little dark specks) paired with muted greens/red (for christmas). (think the shades in the Dear Mr. Claus line--love that).

    I love pink and orange together, but the colour I seem to be using most at the moment in my sewing is grey. It looks good with virtually every other colour I sew with!

    rainbow colours on solid grey is my favourite at the moment. I've never sewn curves, this giveaway is a real challenge!
